This an 8-hour CRSO course. You must be 21 years old to take this course. You must have completed the Basic Range Safety Officer Course. NRA Chief Range Safety Officer candidates should be experienced shooters, involved in many aspects of target shooting, training, and range supervision. The NRA encourages active shooters to learn more and become responsible for the safety of fellow shooters through this program.
This is relevant for anyone desiring to become a Chief Range Safety Officer.
The critical components are the Standard Operating Procedures Manual, managing RSOs, and running a range effectively.
