This class is only relevant to those wanting to become CCW instructors. The student course is a mandatory prerequisite.
This is a 2-day course. Day one consists of ALL classroom. Day two is all range time. Topics include: You will learn to become an NRA Certified CCW Instructor. You will teach firearm safety, pistol nomenclature and selecting a pistol for self-defense, ammunition knowledge and defensive ammunition, basic defensive pistol skills, drawing from concealment, loading and stoppage remediation, mindset. Students will receive the two handbooks (if you are on the CCW instructor path you must bring YOUR OWN student copy of BOPS & PPOTH). Pricing does not include ammo. You will need your own firearm, holster and concealment garment, mag pouch, and 200 rounds of ammo.

The classroom capitalizes on the skills developed through the student course. Instructor candidates present much of the classroom material with the Training Counselor facilitating much of the discussion.
Speed, accuracy, and discipline are the flavors of the day. We expect you to be proficient shooters. You will be timed for the instructor qualifications.
